What we're building
The questions we want CarQnA to answer
Concept previews of what we are exploring. Nothing here is live yet, and every figure is an example.
CarQnA is an AI voice assistant for Irish drivers that we are building now. The idea is that you ask a question about your car out loud (specs, pricing, VRT, NCT, tax or servicing) and get a clear spoken answer. It is not open yet. Today you can read our guides and register your interest.
That is the plan. We want drivers to be able to use CarQnA without a card or a subscription, and we are still working out how to pay for it. Registering your interest is free and commits you to nothing.
The only details we collect today are the email (and name, if you give one) you leave when you register your interest, and whatever you send through the contact form. We use them to reply to you and to tell you when early access opens, and we do not sell them. The privacy policy has the detail.
Our guides are written from what official bodies such as Revenue, NCTS, SEAI and Citizens Information publish, and each guide lists its sources and the date it was last checked. We are not affiliated with any of them. Rules and rates change, and an AI answer can be wrong, so treat anything here as general information and confirm it with the official source before you act.
No. CarQnA offers general information. It is not a hands-on inspection and not professional mechanical advice. If something about your car feels unsafe, stop driving it and have a qualified mechanic look at it.
