About these terms

These terms apply when you use carqna.com. CarQnA is an independent project, run from Ireland, that is building an AI voice assistant for drivers. The assistant is not open yet. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.

General information, not advice

The guides, examples and answers on this site are general information about cars and motoring in Ireland. They are not legal, tax, financial, insurance or mechanical advice, and they do not replace an inspection by a qualified mechanic. Rules, rates and fees change, and we can get things wrong, so check the official source, such as Revenue, NCTS, the RSA, SEAI or Citizens Information, before you act on anything you read here. Never use your phone while driving, and if something about your car feels unsafe, stop when it is safe to do so and have it checked.

What we are building

Where the site describes features we are working on, it shows our plans today. The figures and screens on the home page are examples, not live results. Plans can change, arrive later than we hope, or not arrive at all. Registering your interest is free, does not create an account and does not commit you, or us, to anything.

No affiliation

CarQnA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Revenue, NCTS, the RSA, SEAI, SIMI, Citizens Information, or any car maker, dealer, garage or insurer. Their names, and the names of cars and brands, are used only to describe them and belong to their owners.

Using the site fairly

Please do not misuse the site. That includes trying to break, overload or get around its limits, sending automated or bulk sign-ups or messages, signing someone else up without their permission, and using the forms to send spam or anything unlawful.

Our content and other sites

The text, design and graphics on this site belong to CarQnA, are licensed to us, or are listed with their source in our asset record. You are welcome to read them, print them for your own use and share links to them. Please ask before copying or republishing substantial parts. Links to other websites are there to help you; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say.

Availability

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under consumer law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information, including what you send through the forms, is explained in our privacy policy.
